Zillow is banning certain listings from their website that start their selling journey as private listings or in coming soon status. How will this impact buyers? There will be certain homes for sale that you can’t see on Zillow, so if that’s the main website you use to search for properties…you might want to think twice. How will this impact sellers? You better understand the ramifications of your listing options, both short-term and long-term. Is Zillow doing this to protect the home buying public…or are there other motivations at play? I give you my unfiltered opinion in the video! Plus, there’s a new player on the scene, Homes.com, an up and coming real estate website and they have stated they will show all listings no matter what, in direct opposition to Zillow’s stance.
